Using external K-type and J-type thermocouples as temperature sensor, the Amprobe TMD-53 thermometer is a 5 digit, small and handy digital device. It can measure super-heat and sub-cool temperature easily with its two inputs, as well as cut-out and in temperature measurements. It follows the Reference Temperature/Voltage Tables (N.I.S.T. Monograph 175 Revised to ITS-90) for the temperature indication of K-type and J-type thermocouples. The TMD-53 is ideal for HVAC/R technicians and electricians, and also for research, industrial process, and quality control purposes.
